I've always wanted to follow my heart in matters of earning income. Sadly, this was easier said than done.
As a creative person with no college degree, I was constantly looking for ways to earn income so that I could pursue my art. That often meant having several jobs instead of one. It didn't leave me much free time to create. I wanted to earn my living in a way that felt good and I also wanted the freedom to do what I love.
Over the years, I was fortunate to get fairly consistent work as a singer. I made a living. Even so, I lived pretty much from gig to gig. Back in the day, I sang on a few television and radio commercials. (To hear some, click the link below.)
I learned about "residual income." That's when you get paid over and over for work that you do once. Who wouldn't want that?
My career and health stories are connected. All my life I struggled with frequent colds, sinus infections and allergies. The older I got, the worse it got. When I took a break from singing professionally to start a family, the constant illnesses followed me.
When my son was still very young, I had a scary experience stemming from an ear infection. I was having dizzy spells and I was afraid I would fall and hit my head. What if my five year old had to call 911? That was a wake-up call.
That made me get serious about my search for a real solution. Thankfully, I was introduced to natural nutrition products from a company with a reputation for purity and integrity for more than 60 years.
I was skeptical. I was also desperate. I began taking the products consistently and my life and my health were forever improved.
Then I went to a business luncheon where I heard those two lovely words again: residual income. I found out it was possible to build a new career for myself by helping people be healthier. I could create a legacy for my son. I got very excited about that idea!
With the recent global crisis, I believe that what I have to share is more important than ever.
